2007 Black MuscatA semi-sweet wine with the true Muscat flavors coming through. These grapes come from vines that are more than 50 years old, from the Upland Vineyards in Sunnyside. With the residual sugars (RS) of 3.8% and great acidity this wine is very approachable and perfect for those do anything, anywhere occasions. Enjoy it on a picnic or in the hot tub. Twilight HarvestA Late Harvest Gewürztraminer. As close as we can come to an Ice Wine without being one. A crisp, fruity wine bursting with floral aromas and just a touch of spice. A wonderful addition for your after dinner enjoyment. (RS 9.5%) Red WinesTango - New Release50% Malbec, one of the great varietals that is the number one grape in the Mendoza Valley of Argentina and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, needing no introduction. Two grapes producing a wine with classy character causing you to have the strange desire to order a Steak, ask for Chimichurri , and dance the night away, while speaking a language you do not understand. 2007 CarmenéreMuch like merlot this grape is lower in tannins making for a smooth dinner wine. You will notice many different taste sensations from blackberry to many exotic flavors making it a wine that can match with a greater range of foods. Ask us about its interesting history. Junkyard Red NVIt is a very smooth red wine that is ready to drink immediately after opening. No need to lay it down. It is ready. Low in acids but strong in flavor. This will surprise many when they hear what the four wine grapes are. Cab. Sauv., Syrah, Merlot, and Tempranillo. Mercantile Red NVA blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (8%), Merlot (80%), & Syrah (12%). This Red Table wine starts off with just a touch of the earthy characteristics from the Cabernet Sauv., in combination with the Syrah, followed by the smooth finish from the Merlot. With the sturdy and dusty tannins, I suggest a big steak or flavorful pasta dish to match with this wine. 2006 SyrahBig and intense is how we like our Syrahs. We want the great fruit flavors that the Yakima Valley has, to come through. Aged in 100% Hungarian oak pungeons for a period of 30 Months. A mature and complex wine is only achieved threw patience and intuition, caress your palate with this supple syrah that drowns in it’s own elegance. Think steak or even pepperoni pizza for this wine. 2006 MerlotStarts out with lush fruit flavors and matching aromas. Considered to be on the light and fruity range for merlot. Ending with a silky smooth finish. Ready to drink with your favorite meal. White Wines2007 Chenin BlancFrom late spring to early fall indulge yourself in an amazing treat. Savor the taste of passion fruit, apricot, dried pineapple, tart green apple (Granny Smith) and strawberry. Make sure you serve chilled to bring out these great flavors. (2% RS) 2007 GewurztraminerSpicy and crisp (the German word for spice is Gewűrz), with a bouquet that pleases the palate. Works well when pairing with game and strong flavored casseroles. Enjoy young but will age well. (RS-3%) 2008 Pinot Grigio – ChardonnayA blend of Pinot Grigio (50%) and Chardonnay (50%) co-fermented to create a crisp white wine. The nose starts off with a citrus aroma that leads into a crisp green apple. Once in the mouth the wine gives off a subtle pear flavor with good acidity through the finish. Would pair this wine with green salads, seafood, and chicken. 2008 RieslingPale yellow green, clean, with light floral and fruit aromas suggesting white grapefruit, green apples, off-dry flavors; crisp, tart, racy balance; smooth with a long finish. (RS-3%) 2008 ChardonnayNon oaked, bringing out the true flavor of this magnificent grape with an appley, fruit forward taste. This grape is known for it’s acids but shows just a touch of RS even though we consider it Dry. Home | Winery | Wine List | History | Location | Yakima Links | What's New | Contact Us |
